With water efficiency in mind, Dubai-based Agricel recently launched a farming system that uses a film-like material instead of soil and allows farmers to use 90 percent less water.

  2. Really amazing time-lapse videos of our planet, they captures those moments where you’re stunned by beauty just thinking “I hope to never forget this.”
Each continent offers different views; Europe showed the most amazing skies, Antarctica has a rich marine life that I didn’t expect… and then there’s the low-orbit flight around the globe, which puts it all in a different perspective.  If your internet can handle it (mine had some trouble buffering the HD video) these are really worth a watch. Happy Earth Day.
